because we're supposed to be pretty. we learn that beauty is the most important thing for a girl. i'd rather be a pretty stupid girl than a smart ugly one. any girl who says differently is lying.

in our society looks are everything, everyone expects you to be skinny and beautiful, they want to be liked by guys

i guess girls do it because they want to feel good about themselves or they want people to like them.

i care about what i look like but my confidence level and self is esteem is so low i just think im plain ugly. =[ but i care about my self respect because of it i guess.

Because everyone has the opportunity to be attractive. They just have to take care of themselves and groom themselves properly. So, that's what we'll do.

sometimes they just want ideas
and sometimes they want a second opinion
not saying i do post pix on here
but i dont think its really all that bad
and it doesnt mean they dont respect themselves
as long as its not like a slutty picture

the media has made girls insecure, and we care much more about what's on the outside.
i would never post pictures of myself on here and be like "OMG RaTe MeEeE!!"
i definitely have much more respect for myself than those girls.
i pity them.

Because your society in general is focused on outside beauty then self respect. Girls feel that in order for them to feel pretty, or important they have to dress like whores or put out, but that is just my opinion, I could be completely wrong.
