Why are my capped teeth suddenly very sensitive?
I am a female and fifteen years old. I have had caps on my front teeth from a bike accident for six years. I had a very good dentist who made me excellent caps. Today, one tooth has become extremely sensitive and it hurts to feel the slightest bit air on that one tooth. It is the same color as its always been, and it looks normal overall. Is this a temporary thing or should I get a new cap?

If this lasts for more than a couple more days, get back to the dentist so that an x-ray may be taken to make sure the nerve is not starting to die. Good luck.
