Is drinking to much lemon water bad for my teeth enamel?

Is drinking to much lemon water bad for my teeth enamel?

I drink about 5-6 litres of water with natural lemon juice in it every day, will this wear down the enamel on my teeth greatly? If so is there anything i can do to stop the erosion

YES! Just about EVERY acidic fruit/food will destroy your enamel. Use Sensodyme: Pronamel. It will help restore your enamel.

Natural or not, lemon juice is highly acidic. And since it appears you are drinking large amounts slowly throughout the day… yes, you are wearing the enamel on you teeth at a rapid rate. You CANNOT re-build enamel. What you have when those teeth erupt, is all you have. Sensodyne Pro-Enamel does not “rebuild” enamel, it simply helps to strengthen it.

To stop the erosion… stop putting lemon juice in your water. Drink neutral water or even milk. Always use a fluoridated toothpaste. Drink/eat acidic foods quickly… do not sip them slowly or snack on them throughout the day.
