Question ….. – How do you floss your teeth correctly?
How? I haven’t flossed before (Im 15) but I kinda want to start. Is it to late to start? The dentist flossed my teeth during a cleaning and it hurt like craziness. Anyways, how do you do it the right way? Can you damage your teeth or gums if you do it incorrectly?

WOW… You’ve NEVER flossed your teeth before?? You know that can cause plaque and gingivitis. Well anyways, all you have to do is thread the floss through your teeth until they bleed. (Sounds bad, I know but you have to so that you can get rid of all the plaque.) Then go over it again unless, it bleeds again. If bleeds, start over.

pull about an arms lenght of floss wrap it around your middle fingers then with your index fingers guide the floss in between each gap in your teeth. when you are fitting the floss in do it carefully, cuz you can cause trauma in the gingiva if you force it in. once the floss is in place. bend the floss around the tooth,so that it forms a c shape, just pretend u are shining a shoe, and move the floss back and foward. then up and down. good luck
