Are the black spots in peoples teeth cavities?
Sometimes when people smile I see a bunch of blackness in their teeth, are these cavities?
Also I have not been to a dentist in 4 years and my teeth have no blackness, does this mean I am taking great care of my teeth?

Not always…A lot of the time they are just stains.

usually these black spots are hard calculus deposits around the teeth.sometimes it may be cavities.
if you dont have any black spots and your gums dont bleed then you have a good oral hygiene.keep it that way.
