what do you think is the best way to treat weak nails that break and peel easily?

get a nail hardner and don't treat your nail like tools treat them like jewls....lol

Your problem is because of lack of calcium. Many a times dry nails also break easily.
You can try this tip.........
Before going to bed clean your nails in luke warm water and a nail brush. Then apply raw Glycerin.This will make your nails soft.
Eat food rich in calcium(milk, milk products, green leafy veggies etc).
If still your problem continues, then consult a doctor abt taking calcium tablets.
