So a couple of minutes ago i fell down the stairs and i hit my head really hard and i got carpet burn on my arm [it left a really big cut in my left arm] and it burned my right arm. I hit my head really hard and i fell. When i fell down the stairs my dad dropped everything and came to me he asked how i was doing and if i feel dizzy or anything. Then 5 mins later my mom came along and said “Thats good for you, you should’ve broken your arm and your teeth”. Shes always putting me down and i hate it and i just dont tell her anything about it i ignore her. My dad then took me upstairs and told me to take a shower. So i did. After i got out of the shower i heard my dad telling her, “stop putting chanel down, leave her alone your her mother, you cant keep talking to her and insulting her like this”. I then went to my room got dressed and my dad came up and put neosporing and a band-aid on my arm and then soaked my head with limacol. After that he told me to get some rest and that im not going to school tomorrow. So, i did as he said and watched tv in bed. Then a couple minutes later my mom came in the room and told me that “your going to school tomorrow and if you dont you’ll get it bigtime.”. So i told her i was like, “you know what? You see the way ur treating me now? When you get old and theres no one to take care of you, im gonna treat you the same way. When you fall i’ll leave you there, and i’ll slap you around like a little girl and order you around and ask you, “you should’ve never treated me like that as a kid”. Was i wrong for telling her that? I feel really guilty now.

Your mom is wrong to be treating you like that.
She probably needed to hear it.

well, what you said was a bit harsh, but you should hope that she is regretting what she has done because of it. good for you for sticking up for yourself! just don’t be too hard on her, she is your mother, and you could easily get into trouble.

you were completely right for saying that. Your dad should seriously consider a divorse
- H²
Nope. I would say the same thing if I was in your situation. She deserved it.

No you’re not wrong, she’s you’re mom, she shouldn’t be treating you that way.
To be honest, I would probably say the same thing.
- Black rose.
No you wasn’t, I would have done the exact same thing.
She sounds like a terrible mother, at least you have your dad though.
If I was him i’d get a divorce from her.

It wasn’t really respectful to say that to her but I think it is good you did because she needs to think about how her actions will affect her later. You know, it sounds to me like she might be jealous of your father’s love for you. Just know that the way your mom treats you has to do with her faults and insecurities not anything you are doing.

no not at all. if you need someone to talk to im here

no way you were right!

from a mom, no she shouldn’t say things like that to you and sounds like her and dad are not acting like a team if he is saying one thing and she is saying another.
You know if you do feel bad for it (which I can’t blame you for saying it but anyway…) if you feel bad wait till she chills then tell her you’re sorry for saying it to her but she makes you feel really important with how she treats you. Be prepared though she sounds like she has a chip on her shoulder and you might not like what she says back… maybe say it while your dad is there just in case.
